Francis 'Gabby' Gabreski was the highest scoring Ace in the European theater of war during World War Two having 28 confirmed kills and three destroyed on the ground. He later went on to shoot down 6 1/2 Migs during the Korean War while flying the F-86. This makes him one of seven pilots to be awarded ACE in two separate wars.
